To be the best in the world, the healthcare system should be efficient and economical. Singapore has achieved the summit in both functions
Efficiency: There are three major categories for which the health care system is required. Singapore has done a great job by separately managing these categories
1a. Outpatients: Based on the economic condition of the patient, he can visit either public or private hospitals. Publish hospitals also know as polyclinics. In most of the scenarios, a prior appointment is required to visit the public hospital
1b. Inpatients: For certain cases, admission to the hospital is required. However, Singapore is using the statistical method to accurately predict the required number of beds required in the hospital
1c. Emergency Response: Emergency medical response is managed by Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). It is one of the most efficient response systems with a 96% success rate.
